experience
Lenice Lim commenced with msl in 2009 after her completion of degrees in both commerce and law (hons). During Lenice’s professional legal training with the firm she has specialised in the area of Local Government, Planning and Environment, where she worked directly with the firms Partner in charge of this area, Karen Van Den Brand. In addition, she has also worked directly with msl’s managing partner, Michael Sing, to assist with complex cases involving many of the firm’s commercial litigation clients.
Lenice has also been responsible for conducting large amounts of legal research in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, with a particular focus on how corporations and clients obligations can meet their environmental obligations in light of current environmental concerns throughout the state. Having completed a bachelor of law (with honours) and a bachelor of commerce, Lenice is equipped with the knowledge to provide clients with detailed advice in the corporate and commercial realm.
Fluent in Malay and conversational Chinese language skills, Lenice has also assisted the firm in the establishment of its Asian business services. Having studied commerce (majoring in accounting) Lenice has a keen interest in corporate accounting and taxation law and is looking forward to expanding her practical legal skills in this area.
