Katrina has had exposure to a wide range of litigation matters in most Courts and various tribunals including contract disputes, Trade Practices actions, estate litigation, property disputes, mortgage disputes, valuation of land disputes and some insolvency matters.

Katrina has previously worked in the area of commercial litigation and in particular financial services recovery.  During which time Katrina acted for banks, finance companies, receivers, liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy and voluntary administrators as well as body corporates, industry based companies and debt collection agencies.

Katrina has acted on a whole range of recovery actions including:

• Acting for financial institutions including appearing as an advocate at Court in actions relating to advice by financial advisors;
• Advising banks and financiers on the enforceability of security documents executed; and
• Acting for banks, credit unions, and financial institutions in issuing statutory demands and obtaining possession of real property.    

Some of her career highlights include acting for a multi-million dollar corporation based in Sydney that was involved in the construction of high-end residential island estates and various shopping centres throughout Australia.  

Katrina has also acted for a large construction company in the Federal Magistrates Court regarding various claims under the Trade Practices Act. The claims were successful and Katrina secured a Judgment exceeding one million dollars for the client.

Katrina has a keen interest in creative industries and enjoys painting as well as playing the violin and the saxophone. She has also travelled extensively through Singapore, Malaysia, Egypt, Dubai, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Spain, Ibiza, Hong Kong, Macau, and Japan.
